Late Friday w/some sketch tacos.

Friday February 9th, 2013
This Friday night I was able to get a different perspective than my usual Friday Nights. I say a different perspective because Friday I was able to do worship at The Bridge. Steph had asked me if I wanted to help her sing a couple days ahead and for a quick second I didnt even realize I had said 'yeah, sure.' However, God was definitely in control that night and I got to experience a different aide of worship that night. It was not only Stephs first time singing with a band that night but also her first time singing at The Bridge. I think it's pretty nice that not only was it my first time as well but we got to experience some 'first time things' together. I was a little worried during worship when I seen Vanessa and Jackie sitting near each other but God definitely had something in store for them that night.
Pastor D talked about 'the ABC's of God, and knowing Him.' I really liked the handout that we got that night. It hadn't yet A-Z and there was blanks that we had to fill in. We were given a task to fill in those blanks with a word, corresponding to the letter, that's in the bible that describes who God is. Of course backing it up with scripture. Example, A: God is awesome. "Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, AWESOME in glorious deeds, doing wonders?" Exodus 15:11. I loved this because there's so so many things that God is for us!!Of course before hand I was little nervous at the beginning. Whether or not I would get my harmonies right, would I hit my mic, but during the afterglow man o' man was Gods presence just wonderful i could only focus on Him. I love being able to hear the church singing as one to our God and thinking they sound so heavenly. I believe it's only but a taste of how heaven will be. I was a little bummed because I couldn't be there for Vanessa for the afterglow or for Perla who left earlier than I did but I just know that God did what he had to do.
After worship me, Jackie, Steph and Em got a little silly trying to learn Hannah Montana's 'Hoedown Throwdown'. LOL then we went out to have some tacos and kind of just hang out catch up with each other. It was a really good night and I'm definitely looking forward to more worship and to Stephs Hannah Montana sleepover. Till next Friday comes✌
