"Thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession." 2 Corinthians 2:14

'Not for a moment will You forsake me.' (Not for a moment - Bethel) If i am not in Christ, there is no victory - i need to be close to Jesus. God doesn't just have victory He has GREAT victory. Defeat the enemy today by being joyful in your circumstances, when we lose faith and complain God doesn't get the glory.

Cleaning sometimes turns into flipping my room inside out...

The Living God

"[insert your name here], servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you?" Daniel 6:20

The moment i inserted my name there, this verse struck me so hard, kinda like the one time a kickball struck me right in the face - it hurt but it made so aware the next time i played.

God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, so why is it that one day we trust Him and the next we don't? God will never fail us friends. We serve a God - better yet, thee only God - that is living and active. The same God that set the Egyptians free, protected Daniel in the lions den, and split the Red Sea is the same God that rescues you and i. George Mueller once said "Even in my greatest difficulties, heaviest trials, and deepest poverty and need, He has never failed me. Because i was enabled by God's grace to trust Him." Not only does He rescue us but because He is so gracious, HE gives us the trust to trust HIM! BOOM, mind blown, at least i am. How can we doubt Him in our circumstances when ultimately IF we ask Him, He will provide the way out because only He can give trust, hope, etc... [*sits and try to understand Gods grace but can't because its so good*].

"One day I came to know Dr. John Douglas Adam," writes C. G. Trumbull. "I learned he considered his greatest spiritual asset to be his unwavering awareness of the actual presence of Jesus. Nothing sustained him as much, he said, as the realization that Jesus was always with him in actual presence; and that this was so independent of his own feelings, his worthiness, and his perceptions as to how Jesus would demonstrate His presence.
"Moreover, he said that Christ was the center of his thoughts. Whenever his mind was free from other matters it would turn to Christ. Whenever he was alone, and no matter where he was, he would talk aloud to Christ as easily and naturally as to a human friend. That is how very real Jesus' actual presence was to Him."
What is your spiritual asset?

Morning service was so great, God is moving in a fresh new way at CCSB. Prayer meeting for PI, not exactly sure why the Lord has put this place on my heart, but i will continue to pray and be obedient to Him. Happy Birthday Tio! Sweet time of worship and prayer tonight.

God continue to lead me on the narrow path of righteousness, 'fix my eyes on the things above and not on earthly things.'
The power of prayer.
Do you ever have those days when you have either a full days shift or long day of school ahead of you that you're not looking forward too? Well praise the Lord that these last two days have not been so. Within these last two days the Lord has been showing me - not just the patience i need -  but focusing on communicating with Him more throughout the day. In doing so, my burdens have become extremely light. And not say that work/school is always a burden but when its not something you exactly love, at times it can be. However, i found that TRYING to pray throughout the WHOLE day really makes 1. the day not as much of a drag but 2. the Lord hears the petitions i'm making and 3. He's refining me/growing my faith in the process of prayer. I experienced this not only so at work but at our first outreach of the year tonight as well. We have been praying for this event for weeks now, prayed before we went out, and even still continue to pray for the work God did there. This probably was really my first time seeking and praying over something so much, and the Lord was faithful to answer! On behalf of myself, i asked the Lord for divine appointments, to pray for people - and He truly heard my prayer and brought along some women that we spent quite a few minutes with. This may seem like  something so small but i thank God for it because with such small requests come souls that are transformed by the grace of God and not only so but my faith grows.

"That night the Lord appeared to [Isaac]." Genesis 26:24
The Lord spoke to Isaac when he took the time to rest, 'when there was no inner storm.'

Are you laying down everything before the Lord so that you can hear Him speak? Are you yielding to Him? Do you know His voice?

Lord Jesus may i continue to learn and discern what Your voice sounds like. May i be able to distinct it so clearly. May i be confident in the midst of the loudest room and even the quietest room, of your voice.

Last Friday we continued part two of the 'Pump of the Volume' series in which we focused on what it means to be the “Royal Priesthood” in a study called “HE DIDN’T MOVE.” We had a royal Vietnamese guest by the name of Xu whom shared something to the extent of 'royalty does not have an affect on you unless you receive it.' The same is with the 'royal priesthood' of Christ Jesus. Like Solomon was the heir of that which once belonged to his father David, we heir the same royalty from Jesus by the blood He paid for us.  However, we must receive it and once we have, we ought to represent God (like trophies) to others and not keep people away from Him.

"When He has brought out all His own, he goes on ahead of them..." John 10:4

A few things i got out of this short but sweet verse.

-  "When He has brought out..."
  • God is with us from the start and He is continuously guiding our footsteps.
- "all..,"
  • The Lord waits for each of us no matter how fast or how slow we move, He is there to meet our needs.
- "His own,"
  • We are His and He is ours. When you belong to someone or something belongs to you it is has some sort of value or worth to us. We belong to him and we are of great value to Him.
- "He goes on ahead of them."
  • My friends God, the Almighty one, goes before us. That means that everything we encounter in our lives has already been encountered first by Him! God is already in the tomorrow that we often fear so much but remember that "all the tomorrows of our life have to pass through Him before they can get to us."

"This is the Blessed Life -- not anxious to see far down the road nor overly concerned abut the next step, not eager to choose the path nor weighed down with the heavy responsibilities of the future, but quietly following the shepherd one step at a time. HE GOES BEFORE." -J. Danson Smith

God is in every tomorrow,
Therefore
I live for today,
Certain of finding at sunrise,
Guidance and strength for the way;
Power for each moment of weakness,
Hope for each moment of pain,
Comfort for every sorrow,
Sunshine and joy after rain.

Met with a few girls for some sweet fellowship, and to our surprise Xu and Iz happened to be there. Max apparently wanted to play hide and seek except he kind of got stuck. And finally met little Bianca whom is so beautiful!

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us." Romans 8:37

Conquer something today - a fear, a challenge, etc.. i did and it was only by Gods grace. i conquered the pride within myself. The pride that was stirring bitterness inside my heart toward someone whom i love so much. As I've mentioned I'm more of a writer, not much much of a speaker when it comes to what i feel. But by Gods grace He has given me the words and the humility to speak that which comes from Him.

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God." Matthew 5:9
Finally all caught up with the life of the 'soon to be' Mrs. McNab.

Performance Ministry Tuesday. Please keep us in prayer as we'll be heading out this Saturday to our first 'mission' of the year where we'll be sharing not just the dances but praying for those around us, and sharing the gospel of Jesus.
